What is BrickFTP?

BrickFTP is a file-sharing tool that allows users to transfer files securely. There is a web interface and a desktop app that you can use to download and upload your image files. BrickFTP supports:

  • HTTPS (443) via our web interface, right in your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, IE11)
  • FTP (21 or 3021) / FTPS (990 or 3990) / FTPES (21 or 3021) via a desktop client (FileZilla, Cyberduck, etc.)
  • SFTP (22) via SSH using a special public/private key pair; popular FTP clients such as FileZilla can also be used
  • WebDAV (443) for mounting folders on your desktop

Why does Clipping Path India use BrickFTP?

We use BrickFTP because it supports 5TB file uploads on all interfaces and works with popular programs like FileZilla. It also has a desktop sync app which works like Dropbox and Google Drive — which especially helps save time when uploading and downloading large batches of images.

BrickFTP also supports a global user base, just like we do. Through BrickFTP Global, they maintain quick file transfer speeds for countries across South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
